How They Negotiate Renewals. RTI begins the renewal process 90 to 120 days before a policy is up. During that time they review the needs of their client, and review and compare the policies and rates of their providers. When they have gathered all their information they present their findings in a manner that allows the client to make an informed decision without being rushed.
Risk Management. Risk Management is a process that can help a client create safety solutions that are cost effective and adhere to ethical guidelines. The first step is to analyze past incidences and recurring problems. From there patterns of loss and frequency are identified, and then compared to similar organizations in the area.
Once areas of improvement regarding safety have been identified the insurance company works with employees to reduce or eliminate those risks. Employees receive training to help identify situations that may not be safe.

Safety training videos are available on a wide range of topics from ergonomics, avoiding rear-end collisions and fall protection. Videos can be sent to an onsite location.
Webinars are also provided. Webinars allow employees to learn and study new safety producers or brush up on established ones, at anytime and without traveling offsite.

Claim Handling Procedures. It is their goal, through their risk management programs and training to minimize claims. However, in the event that an incident occurs the claims handling procedure is a process involving several steps.
Information is gathered regarding type of loss, the date of the incident, coverage implications, etc.
An agent/company representative will inspect any damage related to the claim.
Claim is resolved. This step can vary depending on when the claim was made and complexity of the claim.
Throughout this process the agent is an advocate for the client to the insurance company.
